“The visual arts teach us to see.Linda Reimond
….Music teaches us to listen.
….Dance teaches us to move with joy.
….And drama and literature teach us to see through other people’s eyes.
Besides encouraging creativity, maybe the arts can help us become more human!”

Starting this September our studio is pleased to offer a two-day/week arts-based preschool program designed to “spark” the creativity of the children in our community. Our program will have a maximum of 15 students, ages 3 1/2 – 5 years (child must be 3 1/2 by start date)! Preschool will be held on Mondays & Wednesdays from 9:30am-12:00pm. Below is a sample of our typical weekly schedule.
The SPARK program will largely focus on allowing the children to grow in their creativity. This unique program will be led by a team of five highly qualified, well trained teachers and will launch your child’s further academic growth through visual arts, music, theatre and dance! We want them to explore the arts freely, through monthly themed art processes and projects. Each of the monthly themes (see chart below) will be tailored to helping the students solidify academic preschool concepts, grow in their individual emotional intelligence, improve their social interactions with peers and much more!
|September||All About Me|
|November||Countries & Cultures|
|December||Holidays Around the World|
|March||Earth & Space Sciences|
We also want to grow a wonderful community between our parents, teachers and students! In order to create such a community we will be inviting the parents/guardians to attend the last portion of one of our preschool classes once a month (~30 minutes) to celebrate our monthly theme and view their child’s creations. We will also facilitate opportunities throughout the year for the parents to join us in our learning – including field trips and class events!
Our team of five teachers will allow us to have a 5:1 student/teacher ratio at our preschool and will provide your student with adequate support and opportunity to grow and develop at his/her own individual pace!
